Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, September 11, for our Meet the Teacher Night and Community Picnic. The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a brief message from our Principal outside on the field. From there we invite families inside to visit their child’s classroom. Teachers will do a brief 10 minute session at 5:15 p.m. and again at 5:30 p.m. to allow for those with more than one child to attend more than one session in more than one classroom.
Once the sessions are over we are pleased to host a Community Picnic. Bring your picnic blanket or lawn chairs and join us on the back field. We will have the Shiraz Persian Food Cuisine (see the menu here: https://cloverdale.sd61.bc.ca/wp-content/uploads/sites/63/2024/08/IMG_20240830_131825.pdf ) and the Candy Time Food Truck (selling snacks of mini donuts, lemonade, snow cones, and cotton candy for $5 per item). Families can also bring their own picnic. We are so excited to have a social gathering to our families again!
This event was very well received last year. We had a great turn out and families enjoyed meeting and visiting with other Cloverdale families. T hank you to CTS PAC for helping with the costs associated with arranging these food trucks to attend. We hope to see everyone there!
