Student Led Conferences are upon us once again! Wednesday, February 12 and Thursday, February 13 students will be in session until 11:54 a.m. only and then will have early dismissal to allow for Student Led Conferences. Please arrange afterschool care accordingly for these half day instructional days.
These Student Led Conferences differ from the Parent Teacher Interviews in the fall, as they are student driven. Each classroom will have stations set up inside for students to take their parents through and demonstrate some of the things they are currently learning. Teachers will be available in the classrooms during Student Led Conferences.
The online booking system is now live (as of 5:00 a.m. today, Monday, February 3). Please use this system (https://cloverdale.schoolappointments.com/admin/) to sign up for a half hour time slot for you and your child(ren) to attend. Up to 5 students can be booked in each time slot. Time slots are every 30 minutes starting from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12 and 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13. If you were hoping to attend during a time slot that is already full, please contact the classroom teacher directly.
Please note that as this is a school required activity, students must attend in their full uniform if attending a Student Led Conference on Wednesday, February 12. If you and your student are attending a Student Led Conference on Thursday, February 13 they should attend in either their Red, White, and Pink for our Valentine’s Day out-of-uniform day or their full uniform if they choose not to participate in Red, White, and Pink Day If you have a young sibling that is not school aged, please make arrangements for them to be cared for elsewhere. Child minding is not available for these Student Led Conferences.
If you have any questions or concerns or have trouble using the system please contact the school office at 250.382.7231 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that the online booking system does not work from certain smart devices.
We look forward to seeing all families at Student Led Conferences
